vocalist looking to form a band in chicago area
Hey everyone. I found this community and joined livejournal just to hopefully connect with some people in this community. What I am looking for are potential j-rock musicians in the Chicago area to form a band and start jammin. No crying and no drama, just a good time with others who understand how much j-rock can knock their socks off!
A little about me: I am 22 years old and have been involved with music for 15 years. I have sung j-rock on stage before in front of a crowd of about 200. I love a wide variety of j-rock, ranging from the more pop-y songs to the heavy screamo stuff, and everything in between.
If you are interested feel free to shoot me a message. Let me know a little about yourself, including instrument, experience, and influences. And then we'll get everyone together and see how our sounds gel. And who knows where we'll be able to go from there!

Ho Ho Ho!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you're all having fun and not being too grinchy.
I am chillin' as usual. (Not too different than any other day, I guess...)
In the season of good will and all of that stuff, I have a little gift for my North American friends out there.
The new FAKE? album "Switching On X" will be released in the U.S.!!!
Don't have all the details on me right now (forgive me, it's christmas!), but you should be able to get it through download format or as a regular c.d.
The release date is Feb. 24th and the Japanese release date has been pushed back to the same date to coincide with the U.S. (for everyone in Japan who was looking to get the album in January - again, forgive me...it's christmas!)
Also, clothing brand "montage", who we've been collaborating with for the past few band T-shirts will be handing out free 3 track sample c.d.'s of the new "Switching On X" album at their stores from the end of the year. Check out where their stores are from the links section on our homepage. If you're in luck, you might be able to catch their end of year sale and grab some cool gear while you're there!

皆さんはクリスマスを楽しんでるかな？
僕はいつもの様にまったり過ごしてます。（クリスマスじゃなくても、基本的に毎日まったりしてるけど。。。）
クリスマスのシーズンなので、アメリカの皆さんにプレゼント的な物を。
なんと新しいアルバムがアメリカで発売されます！！
今、手元に情報がないから細かい事は書けないけど（クリスマスだからお許しを！）、ダウンロード、または通常パッケージでアルバムを手に入れる事が！
去年、デビュー当時からずっと在籍してた事務所を離れ、新レーベルComa Redを立ち上げて、ロンドンで新しく出会った仲間達とレコーディングしたアルバムがアメリカで発売されるという事は僕個人としては非常に大きな意味を持ってて、これから前進する為の大きな一歩になりそうです。
日本でのアルバム発売日はアメリカの発売決定により、同時リリースの２月２４日に変更になりました。（１月にアルバムを楽しみにしてた人達もいっぱいいたと思いますが、ここもクリスマスという事で、またまたお許しを！。。。ていうか、本当にごめんなさい！）
“ざけんなロイド、許さん！”という方々は最近のFAKE? T-shirtをコラボで作っていただいた最強ブランド"montage"のお店に足を運んで下さい。
なんと、ちょうど年末のセールあたりからFAKE? の"Switching on X" ３曲editサンプルc.d.をmontageの店舗で無料配布をしています！（montageのスタッフさんはみんなとってもいい人達なので、優しい気持ちで行ってね！）店舗などの詳しい情報はFAKE?のホームページのmontageリンク先からどうぞ。

HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS!! =D
Hi everyone!
